The Big Day

I have been working *feverishly* all week to get this stuff together and I'm so happy that Friday is finally here! I'm so excited to show you all these new releases, but first I have to brag on Denise Beatty for a sec. Check this out:

I just love it!!!! I could look at it all day, it's so stinkin' cute. There is NO ONE better at banners and blinkies than Denise. Seriously. Have you seen my lame-o attempts at blinkies? S-A-D. Denise rocked this banner and she deserved some serious thanks - so thank you Miss Denise!!!

Alrighty, on to the new releases. I'm so excited to tell you that Brianne (my sister) of Hafen Creations and I have finally teamed up to bring you:

Our kiddos are both starting school soon and we knew we'd have lots of back to school pics to scrap so we decided we should make the perfect kit for ourselves! I really love how it turned out, and it is *HUGE* people! Two alphas, tons of realistic elements and lots and lots of papers too. Here are a few pages that the SM CT whipped up for us:

And one by me too (also using a great set of templates by none other than the great Denise Beatty!)

Fun stuff, huh? I've also got a little matching freebie at the end of this post too so keep reading!

And now for my MOST exciting news - my newest venture!

I dabbled with creating fonts about a year ago and only made 4 or 5. Since then one of my fonts (Brianne's Hand) has seriously taken off and become quite popular in the commercial arena. It has been used in a published novel, on billboards, a website, other ad campaigns, and even on TV! How cool is that? I really enjoyed making those few fonts, but after my old computer died with the font making program on it I kind of forgot about it until recently with all this commotion with Brianne's Hand came up. I decided that it was time to make some fonts again! And now you can have your very own handwriting turned into a font too. I love that my digital pages can be journaled in my own handwriting like all of my paper scrapped pages were.

So there are two options up there. The first one (the cheaper version) is non-exclusive which means after I make your font I reserve the right to sell it in my shop and/or use it for advertising or whatever. The exclusive version is for those of you who want that font all to yourself - you retain all the rights to the font. It's a really easy process and pretty quick too! If you're up for a little searching in the SM forum you might just find a coupon for 15% off my NON-exclusive font service too!

A few of the awesome CT gals at SM let me use their handwriting to make some new fonts for today's debut too! Can you stand some more new stuff? LOL

Whew, that's a lot of fonts! I've had so much fun this week making these cute fonts. I hope you enjoy them too.

Now, for all you good people who've stuck with me to the end of this marathon post - a little freebie! Click on the preview or HERE to download.

Brianne's got one too so don't forget to swing by her blog and snag it. Be patient though, she doesn't get up as early as I do! Ha!

New Release and a freebie!

So, have you sent in your application for the SM CT yet?  No?!  Why the heck not?  You'd better get crackin!  Time's almost up.  I promise you won't regret it.  ScrapMatters is such a great place!

Well, I've got a new release out today (shocking, huh?!)  I've been slackin' lately and hanging out with the kiddos as much as I can so that doesn't leave a lot of time leftover for designing.  I've had this one in the works for quite a while now and just barely got it finished this week!  I'm really excited to show you though so here goes:

I LOVE how it turned out!  Here's a page I made with it:

And here are some more pages from some of the CT/DT girls at ScrapMatters:

And I also have a little freebie for ya!

It's a QP made from my layout above.  Click on the image to download or click HERE.

Well, I guess that's about it for today but keep your eyes peeled on the old bloggie here for a CT call coming up in the next couple of weeks and a really exciting new venture I've got coming next week!

Get your applications in quick!  This site has such an awesome CT - you DO NOT want to miss out on this chance!  Not to mention that you get FULL access to the store if you're on the SM CT.  I'm just sayin'!

All aboard!!!

Welcome to another stop on the ScrapMatters Birthday Celeberation Blog Train! You should have just come from Mary's blog.

We have an awesome new GIANT collab at ScrapMatters that's free with purchase and all these fun gifts on the blog train have been made with it. Here's a preview of the whole kit:

Isn't it the CUTEST?! I just think it turned out so cute! Don't forget that it's free with purchase for this weekend only too!

Alrighty, on to the freebie. We decided to mix it up a little this time and we all made different things for the blog train - not just QP's. So I jumped at the chance to make some word art. We don't go on many picnics in our family because we live in Texas and it's too hot to do pretty much anything outside in the summer. But my kids love to have picnic's inside! We spread out a big blanket upstairs and we have lunch there almost everyday! The kids love it and are so excited for it each time. OK, enough babbling. Here's your freebie!

It comes in both shadowed and un-shadowed versions. Click on the image to download or click HERE. Hope you enjoy!

Your next stop on the blog train is Kathleen!
