Next SM Speed Scrap

Hey! I just wanted to let you know when the next speed scrap at SM is going to be. Here are the details:

Thursday, July 10, 9 pm Central

Hope to see you there. I'm not sure whether the participation prize has been posted yet, but I've seen it and it's SUPER cute!!!

News and New's!!

I've got some exciting news! Andrea of Andilynn Designs and I have teamed up this month for the ScrapMatters Daily Download. Our new kit is called {Summer Breeze} and you get grab pieces of it for FREE everyday from the ScrapMatters forum here. Here's the preview of the first DD available today. I'll be posting a new download each day, Monday - Saturday, and the link will only be active for 24 hours so you'd better hurry!

Plus, since it's the beginning of the month GG Digital Designs has some new releases in her shop plus a new freebie (which is my favorite!!!)

and the coordinating "Boy" set!

and here's the freebie this month! (How cute is this?!?!)

For those PSE users who have always wanted to journal in a path - these are PERFECT!!!!

Plus she has some keyplate albums for each of the {Summer Lovin'} kits that are free with the purchase of the kit right now. She also has some super adorable polka dot wraps and a new template pack available too. So much great stuff over there!

Here are a few layouts I made with these fun new kits!

{Summer Lovin' Girl} & {Background Mats} by GG Digital Designs

{Ride 'em Cowboy} & {Timesaver Templates Two} & {Polka Dot Wraps} & {Worn Date Stamps} by GG Digital Designs
child and pictures by Brianne : )

I also realized I never posted my layout with my new {All-American Kids} and {Clearly Seen Elements} kits! So here ya go!

Oh how I love that little face!!! He is so stinkin' cute, and that's pretty much what's keeping him alive these days - dang the terrible two's! Have a great day!

New Schtuff!!

Wow! It's been a fun week but also a BUSY one:

This kit is very patriotic in color but it's also very versatile and perfect for any layout. And it's HUGE! I could have gone on forever making stuff for this kit - so many ribbons, so little time - but I finally stopped myself and I really LOVE it! Lots of fun stuff in here and it's only available at ScrapMatters!

I am really loving acrylic stuff so I made a set of a bunch of elements - pretty much in every shape I could think of! A lot of these things are actually really big so that you can resize them to fit your need! And there are two of everything too - a shadowed and an unshadowed element for each shape! Woo hoo!

Okay, well I guess this isn't totally new but I did manage to put it together this week! I've been meaning to do it for a while now. This is the alpha from my first kit "On The Playground." It's a fun sparkly sticker alpha. I just love sparkles!

And of course, new releases wouldn't be the same without a freebie!! So here ya go! I wanted to do something more patriotic for my All-American Kids kit. Included are two papers, 3 glittery stars, 1 star rub-on, 1 firecracker doodle, 1 fireworks doodle, 1 wordart, and 1 tag. Wow! That's a whole little mini-kit, you lucky ducks! Just click on the preview to download and remember to send your friends over here to download - please don't share the link.

There is a TON of new stuff being released at ScrapMatters today so go on over and check it all out! Hope you all have a great weekend. I'm not sure what we're doing yet - all I know is Josh is taking me out for my birthday, and he even set up the babysitter all by himself! I hate doing that, so that in itself is a great birthday present! : )

Speed Scrap

Whew! I just finished another Speed Scrap over at SM! This one was in the middle of the day and it was MUCH harder to do one with all the kids around me than I thought it would be!!! Luckily Cash got put to bed so I was able to finish! Here's the final product that I managed to post about 5 minutes before the deadline. Whew!

Well, now all I have to do is finish *ahem*, I mean START on some cards for cardswap tonight, work on my new collab (coming soon!) and finish the blog freebie for tomorrow! Sheesh! Not enough hours in the day, I tell ya! At least Maddie's gone swimming with a friend and Ryley is occupied by the PS2 while Cashy is sleepin' so I might be able to get something done!

Don't forget the new releases tomorrow (3!!!) plus a little freebie. See you tomorrow. Dang it! Cash just woke up. . . &$@%#!

A couple of things. . .

First, ScrapMatters is having TWO speed scraps this week! There have been some requests to do a daytime one for those who live outside the US so that it can be an evening one for them. Make sense? Anyway, the first will be on Tuesday, June 24th at 9 p.m. Central Time (Texas time) and the other one will be on Thursday, June 26th, at 12 noon Central Time. You can do one or the other or both! If you just do one there is a cute little mini-kit participation prize by Ellie Lash and if you do both you'll get to chose one of Andilynn Designs What's Hanging kits. Both are SUPER cute and you can get all the information about the speed scraps and see the kits you'll get here.

Second, my sister Brianne has an adorable freebie kit available on her blog here. Go grab it and leave her some love for all of her hard work!

That's all for today. Hopefully I see some of you at the Speed Scraps! I hope I can do both. They are so fun and kind of crazy, but it's still a page done in about an hour!

A Little Contest

The Golden Girls are having a little contest over on their blog. There's a little sneak peak of some new stuff coming soon. Go on over and check it out, maybe you'll win!!! Good Luck!

Aaaaaah. . .

Isn't this nice? A beautiful blog courtesy of Shabby Miss Jenn. I have struggled with making my blog cute for as long as I have had it and so I finally caved today and bought an SMJ blog kit (along with a few of her other goodies - who can resist, really?!) They are soooooo cute and even come with instructions. There is also a VERY helpful video on her website that helped immensely. Lots of coding and lots of "grrrrrr-ing" but it's finally done. Thank heavens the kids were in bed and that Josh is out of town so no one had to hear me cursing at the darned computer! : )
